H for Healing, Guided by Ha
Healing is not simply about relieving symptoms. It is about understanding the body, restoring balance, and supporting long-term wellness. At this space, H represents more than a letter. It reflects a philosophy of care - one that looks beyond temporary relief and focuses on lasting change.
More Than a Letter
H represents a way of thinking about health and healing:
Healing : supporting recovery from within
Health : building a strong and stable foundation
Harmony : restoring balance throughout the body
Heart : approaching care with attention and intention
Holistic : seeing the full picture, not just isolated symptoms
Together, these principles guide a more complete and thoughtful approach to wellness.
Why the Root Matters
Many conditions such as migraines, jaw tension, or chronic pain - tend to return over time. This often happens because the underlying cause has not been fully addressed.
Instead of asking only “How do we stop the pain?” A more important question is:
“Why is this happening?” Understanding the root allows the body to move toward lasting improvement, not just temporary relief.
A Different Approach to Care
A more complete approach to healing considers:
Patterns within the body
Daily habits and lifestyle
Stress and nervous system balance
Long-term function, not just short-term results
This perspective supports not only symptom relief, but overall well-being.
Guided by Experience
This approach to healing is shaped by clinical experience across a wide range of conditions, including migraines, neck and back pain, TMJ discomfort, vertigo, and accident-related injuries. As a Registered Acupuncturist in British Columbia and a member of CTCMA, DH is trained in both traditional Chinese medicine and modern clinical practice. His education includes training at the hospital of a Chinese medicine university in China, where he gained hands-on experience in a hospital setting, followed by further studies at a holistic medicine college in Canada. With the ability to communicate in English, Korean, and Mandarin, care is tailored to each individual - focusing not only on symptoms, but on the underlying patterns that affect long-term health.
A Place to Begin
Whether you are managing a specific condition or simply seeking a more balanced approach to health, understanding is the first step.
Healing does not happen all at once.It begins gradually, from within.
Healing begins from within. H for Healing, Guided by Ha
